There is an unguarded honesty we have when we are around family. This truth is a wonderful place to make art from. Over this month-long workshop, students will explore their own family relationships through documentary image-making. We will take inspiration from existing, celebrated family photo stories, and from our own lived experiences. Photographers will explore themes of connection, resilience, honor, history, humor, and love. What home truths do you want to photograph?
