Asymmetrical South Beach
Over the Photowalk, we will introduce the complicated interplay between form, lines, and color, suggesting a physical arrangement of geometric forms within the South Beach landscape.
We will examine the different geometrical compositional techniques to discover geometrical patterns within the Art Deco architecture by using symmetry and asymmetry to express our unique views of the world.
“I find myself paying attention to things that most people aren’t looking at and finding something new and interesting in the things I see every day.”
Geometrical photography requires careful thought and slow application. All things have an intrinsic geometry, and if we are aware of this phenomenon, we can gain a deeper understanding of our surroundings and use it to create powerful imagery.
