Which are the narrative threads that support our photographic series? How do we
build cohesive series of work? Through this six-part practice-based professional
development workshop, we will excercise how to build and support the narrative
threads (visual and written) that sustain your Photography practice. Ideal for
beginners and intermediate photography students that want to polish their
conceptual approach to their practice, or advanced students that wish to develop a
specific body of work. We will be developing thoughtful assignments that will
trigger your creative juices and make you think about your approach to
photography, whether it’s documentary or artistic. At the end of each exercise we
will collectively look at the work produced and discuss conceptual successes,
possible series, and personal approaches.
