Have you ever wanted to publish a photo book? Are you developing a project you would like to see in book form? Seeing the work of an artist in this medium is an intimate and personal experience, but one that also allows for the distribution and dissemination of the project. The book ends up being not only a physical object that can be seen and manipulated, but it can also be incorporated into the work as an integral element of the artist’s vision.

The course provides an overview of the development of the book as an idea and an object, with the purpose of finishing the class with the basic knowledge necessary for each student to produce a book with accessible tools and at low cost.
