How the invention of a camera changes the
way we see photography and the way we see the world. The Brownie
Camera and vernacular photography. Most of the images that exist in
the world are anonymous, they weren’t made with the intention of
authorship. Since the invention of George Eastman the genius behind
Kodak, and his motto “you take the picture and we’ll do the rest” the
popularity of photography invaded every corner of the world. These
made a radical change in the practice of photography and had incredible
consequences in the years that followed both technologically and
aesthetically.
