new workshop

THE TRAIN TO NOWHERE

Sunday

Completed in 1984, Miami Metrorail remains a mystery to many. In cities throughout the world metro trains stop at major points of interest like museums, stadiums, parks, cathedrals and important financial, retail and entertainment centers. Though a line recently connected Metrorail to Miami International Airport, it stops at few other significant areas of interest. What about Miami Beach? No. Hardrock Stadium? No. Wynwood? No. Where does the Metrorail go? Who rides it and why? This 5-hour workshop will attune us to photography’s potential for social documentary, sociological study and individual reportage. Come and join us on the train to nowhere and let’s see where it takes us.

Starts: April 2, 2023
Cost: $215
Length: 5H
Schedule: Sunday 10:00am / 3:00pm
Maximum number of participants: 8
Taught by: Scott Brennan
